A hackathon is an event where participants are given a theme and, in teams, tasked with developing a product surrounding that theme. This could be an application, a website, a physical product, or even a business plan! During the hackathon, there are opportunities to attend workshops to learn about new topics and explore the work of different NGOs. Judges will help rate the projects, and the top submissions will receive prizes!
The theme for this hackathon’s projects will be the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants will be challenged to develop an idea that addresses one of the seventeen SDGs.
